Books, videos, handouts, magazines, and interactive websites await at LocalMotion's resource library. The materials range from easy reading, such as Natural Home and Garden magazine and the tip-filled Safe Shopper's Bible, to technical journals (we boast a complete set of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry toxicology books supplied by the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services). A computer is also available, bookmarked with websites where you can learn more about environmental toxins, everyday products, and easy alternatives. A television/VCR is set up for watching past lectures by LocalMotion speakers and for videos such as Not Under My Roof! Protecting Your Baby from Toxins at Home and Organic Land Care, which "Shows you how to transform your property from chemical maintenance to an organic program in one year!"

PRODUCT DISPLAY
There is an entire bookcase filled with examples of non-toxic household and personal products. Free samples of organic cotton personal care products are available. Harmful products that should be avoided are displayed on a separate bookcase. Every school year poisons are directly applied to children's scalps to rid them of lice. Poisons are not necessary. We have free samples of LiceBGone, a non-toxic treatment.
